there is hardly difference between general and obc. Normally it becomes difficult to get NIT if ur rank is beyond 16000, and ur rank is 90000, If u can get govt college through ur state quota than it would be ur luck, otherwise please try to reappear if this was ur first chance. secondly please try to choose the college not the branch. Reputation of the college matters alot.

Yes its very much possible to take admission in the JRE BTEch and both the disciplines are available. The JRE Group takes admissions through the AIEEE, CET and UPTU exams.

Yes its true that Educomp JRE Group has good placements. The placements team if from the IIM's. If you look at the placements team, it includes Mr Jayraman who is Ex IIM-A & Ceo of Vardhaman threads and has great industry contacts.

As you know that Educomp is now a big Brand name and India's leading eductional company and For the JRE Group of institutions, it has a collaboration with Raffles singapore which is singapore's leading Educational company.

I think even though Computer Science is a good field and will not fade away soon, it is still a very broad course. Trend says that it is the age of specialization. Why don't you hit on the right aspect of computer science that you want to take up as a career and opt for a specific course more suitable to the field such as coding, animation, web designing, content development, hardware, networking, software and application development, user interface designer etc.

There are sadly not many engineering colleges with great faculty and a focus on the career of the student. definitely these add a lot of value when it comes to placements.
When it comes to placements, a lot of other things also matter like brand name of the college, the people behind placements and teaching and the overall learning exposure.

Hello,

To Secure Admission in JRE Group, you need to take a Valid score like that in AIEEE/UPTU/CET along with your 12th percentage will determine your eligibilty and a merit in these exams your selection.
On this basis, you will be called for an interview and only after clearing that, you will get admission.
