It is unlikely that you will be able to get CSE in Gayatri with a rank of 3836. The cutoff rank for CSE in Gayatri in the 2022-23 academic year was 21K for the general category. For the BC-E category, the cutoff rank was 35K. Your rank is significantly higher than both of these cutoffs.

Yes, IIT Palakked is good choice to pursue MTech admission. The college is reputed and provides one of the best placement in MTech course. As per shiksha, the median package offered in 2025 for MTech course was INR 9 lacs per annum.
