Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most sought-after courses amongst engineering students. Both Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bangalore, and Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology are reputed colleges with their own merits. Here is a small comparison given based on student reviews:
Placements for CSE Branch: The highest package offered goes up to 28 LPA for previous batches at Manipal Institute. The average package for the CSE department is around 8-9 LPA. Top recruitment companies include Amazon, Microsoft, Cloudera, etc. Most of the students were offered the role of software engineer or software technologist. Whereas at MAIT, the maximum salary package that has been offered in the previous batch is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 10 to 12 LPA. Top companies like Amazon visit this college for placements. Fees: The fees for a B.Tech in Computer and Science Engineering at Manipal are around Rs. 11.57, and it is just Rs. 5 Lacs at MAIT. Infrastructure: MAIT campus has a boys' hostel inside the college. It has a well-maintained library, the main auditorium and a mini auditorium, a separate building for badminton (with separate charges), 4 canteens, and a medical clinic. There is no Wi-Fi on campus. Whereas at Manipal, Wi-Fi is available for about 60GB per month. The classrooms are air-conditioned and good. The quality of food in the mess is better than that of other colleges, and you also have many mess facilities to choose from. Basic paracetamol, cough syrup, and bandages are available at the desk counter in the hostel itself. Facilities for games, both paid and free, are also available. Therefore, you can choose either according to your priorities.

As you are aware, the JEE Main Cutoff for 2022 was recently released, and usually this cutoff is of two types: the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. The admission cutoff for JEE Main is the opening and closing ranks for B.Tech admission in each government institute such as NIT and IIIT. It will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). According to the information you have given, you may be able to get into select institutes such as Assam University, Subhas University of Technology (West Campus), and Delhi Technological University. However, it will also depend on the branch and your home state. Also, you have less chance of getting into IIIT without the home-state quota. Hi Rama, Yes, you can open your own lab after completing your M.Sc. In Microbiology but cannot label it as a pathlab until and unless you hire a qualified pathologist in your lab. A doctor with MD in Pathology would be needed to sign the reports related to Histopathology, Cytology, Haematology and Clinical Pathology. DMLT's and B.Sc. MLT's are not entitled to sign pathology reports. Biochemistry and Microbiology reports could be signed by doctors of these concerned specialities but these days labs don't work without a pathologist as cancer is getting very common and only a pathologist could report it efficiently.
