To be eligible for UGC NET exam you must secure 55% aggregate marks in your Masters' degree. If you have not secured this percentage in your distance MBA degree, you can't appear for the exam. If LPU is offering you 2nd year lateral entry for MBA programme and you get your master's degree with 55% aggregate marks scored, then you can apply for UGC NET exam by presenting that degree you received from LPU.

Yes, you can apply for CAT exam in the final year of your degree after completing B.Sc. In animation. CAT eligibility criteria are that candidate must have completed graduation degree with a minimum of 50%marks can apply for the exam.
