Hi.

In raw marks (out of ~800):

  • Very good chance: 600–700+

  • Decent chance: 520–600

  • Borderline: below 500

 BA LLB is competitive, so higher GT + English score matters a lot.

For BA (Programme) (NOT Hons)

You can apply for BA Programme in many universities.

 Required Score

  • 70–85 percentile is usually enough

  • Raw marks: 500–600+

 For BA (Hons) Political Science / History (DU)

Not possible at DU, because:

  • You did not study Polity or History in Class 12

  • DU requires the same domain subject

(Some other universities may allow it, but DU does not.)

 What Matters MOST for You

Since you don't have Polity/History:

The need of IELTS test for obtaining a student visa is based on two things-

  1. Your course: If your selected course is not offered in English then, you might not be required to appear for the IELTS test.
  2. Alternatives: In case your college and visa officials permit, you can attempt to write other English tests like TOEFL, Duolingo and PTE.
