Students who wants to pursue Bachelor courses from icar affiliated University or colleges in agriculture or allied subjects should have passed intermediate examination from either maths or biology (science stream) ICAR conduct examination every for admission in Bachelor courses apart some University conduct their own examination for admission.

For master degree courses students should possess Bachelor degree in agriculture or allied courses, admission made through all India jrf examination for some seats and for some seats admission in respective Colleges by their own entrance examination.
