No, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates are advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, JMI admit card, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the JMI exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the JMI Entrance Exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the self-attested passport sized photographs pasted on it.

Candidates have to sign on the JMI Entrance Exam admit card in the presence of the invigilator. This acts as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case one has signed it before that, he/she can discard the document and take a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. In case a candidate realises this after reaching the exam centre, then they must notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they will have to take a printout of the JMI Entrance Exam admit card from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

The University has not released the BCA placement data. At the UG level, the BTech placement details are out. During 2022 placements, 50 out of 140 BTech students were placed. Earlier, 20 out of 208 students were placed in the 2021 drive. The median package offered from 2020 to 2022 indicates an improving trend. Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of JMI entrance test admit card. However, it is not compulsory as Jamia Millia Islamia has not given any guideline regarding this. A black and white admit card will also work if the details such as photograph and text is clearly visible.

They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the JMI Entrance Exam 2023 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.

If the details printed on the JMI exam admit card do not match those on the official ID proof that you carry on the day of the examination, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
