Although many private colleges offers B.Des course based on Jee Main score but most of them consider exams like UCEED, CUET, NIFT Entrance as the first priority for entrance. Major IIT's consider the score of UCEED for admission in their universities. Delhi University asks for cuet score in relevant subjects for a B.Des course.

No. Direct admission is not possible even on good Class 12 marks. Candidates must appear for COE-TIEE and clear GD and PI. Performance in all the rounds of selection determines final admission. A good academic record may aid but cannot guarantee direct entry.

A minimum of 45% in Class 12 is required to apply. For BSc, Mathematics has to be a compulsory subject. Admission is not strictly on the basis of percentage but also depends on the performance in COE-TIEE, GD, and PI. Higher percentages might improve selection chances.

To become a game designer in India you don't need to have a particular degree but a degree in B.Des. or in computer Science could be helpful. Start nurturing your soft skills like Storytelling, Communication and art and design. Also having a stronghold on technical skills like Programming, Game Engines, Maths and Physics could be really helpful.
