Hi Gaurav. I would most definitely recommend you to prepare for exam of private universities. You have Bits, indraprastha university, Vellore, Manipal, srm and such good colleges that don't consider JEE score but take their own respective entrance tests. These colleges have best teaching faculties as well. I would not recommend dropping a year. You may have to explain your decision of dropping at the time of placements and also at the time of interview if you decide to go for higher education especially MBA. Instead prepare for the private university tests. All the best!

You can. For thapar you need around 7000-14000 A.I.R. in jee mains but for dtu you need 1- 8000 A.I.R. in mains. My suggestion would be to go for dru as it is one of the best college in our country to do engineering.

As PUMBA doesn't have pgdm,there are no separate forms. The whole process is conducted by DTE and admissions are done by cap rounds itself. Please visit DTE website for more information.

Admission to PUMBA is through CAP rounds conducted by DTE and there is no separate process. So, admission to PUMBA will be after announcement of dates by DTE. Keep Checking DTE website for the same.
