Computer Science and Dental Technology are two distinct fields that do not have much overlap. However, computer Science skills can be useful in some aspects of dental technology. For example, computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies are increasingly being used in dentistry to create crowns, bridges, and other dental prostheses. A dental technician with a background in computer Science may be better equipped to work with such technologies and develop innovative solutions to dental problems. Additionally, computer skills may be useful for managing digital patient records and developing software applications that can aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions. However, to work as a dental technician, one typically needs to complete a formal education and training programme in dental technology. This involves hands-on training in laboratory techniques, materials Science, and anatomy and physiology. While computer Science skills may be helpful, they are not a requirement for becoming a dental technician.

I have recently completed my first year from St Pauls Institute of Communication Education and moving onto the next.
