There is no fixed rule that say people with coaching score well as there are many with self-study who have aced the entrance exam.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Andhra Medical College has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 19049. In 2022, it decreased to 15778. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 17558 to 18894 for OBC, 89359 to 44708 for SC, 104594 to 76819 for ST, 18027 to 16966 for EWS. For last year, the closing rank for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 15778 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Andhra Medical College.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Andhra Medical College other than General category are - 18894 for OBC, 44708 for SC, 76819 for ST, 16966 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5071 and closing rank was 15778. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Andhra Medical College is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET.
