Both courses are equally good, and both have huge scope further. But, I think mechatronics is a course, which will be required by all the branches and naval ones are limited to only marine field. Also, mechatronics combines AI and robotics, which will be the most relied fields in future.

The Entrance Test for BMS will consist of questions on following:
1. English Language & Comprehension Skills
2. Logical Reasoning & Visual Reasoning
3. Data Interpretation
4. General Knowledge and General Awareness
5. Mathematics and Data Interpretation will be based on the Syllabus of standard. X across all Boards. The weightage given to above syllabus is 20% to each. So, in my opinion you have mainly focused on English Language, GK and Mathematics for gaining the score, Small preparation on other three subjects can further improve your score.

Hello,
Cut marks will be given out of total marks i.e. 900 marks. There will be a sectional cut off, means one needs to secure minimum sectional cut off marks, which will be near 25-30 % each paper. Only those students who score more than or up to the NDA Cutoff 2019 are eligible for the SSB interview. * Minimum qualifying standard in the written test (out of 900 marks). Marks scored by the finally recommended students (out of 1800). Thank you.
