The MIT-WPU BTech course admissions for 2023 have started on the official website of MIT-WPU. The university has started the application process for all its UG and PG courses. As per the latest schedule updated on the official website of MIT-WPU, candidates can apply for MIT-WPU ­BTech course by June 10, 2023. While for Integrated BTech and BTech (LE) courses, candidates can apply till Jul 3 and Jul 11, respectively.

Aspirants seeking admission to BTech Lateral Entry course must pass a Diploma in Engineering with 60% aggregate or its equivalent (50% aggregate for reserved category). As per the selection process for this course, the university selects candidates based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam, followed by a Statement of Purpose (500 words). This course is offered across the same specialisations namely Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

At the UG level, candidates can pursue a four-year BTech course across 15 popular specialisations. The university also offers direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. The university offers scholarships to the best qualifiers of JEE Main or MHT CET as a waiver on fees. Further, during the commencement of the course, students get an opportunity to pursue a six-month mandatory internship to implement practical learning. • Specifically, biotechnology is needed for bioengineering.
• Candidates from backward categories, differently abled categories, and the state of Maharashtra are eligible for a 5% relaxation; nevertheless, they still need to receive a minimum aggregate of 45-55% in class 12.
• JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, CBSE 10th, ICSE, Maharashtra SSC, NEET, and MIT-WPU MEET are among the acceptable entrance exams.

However, those who seek admission to BTech Bioengineering course, must have passed Class 12 in Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and Biotechnology as optional subjects. The candidates for this course are selected based on NEET UG scores.
