If you are able to rectify minor circuits, can operate gadgets, can understand apps & sites of computers; it can not be translated in any thing substantially in the field of electronics or computer science. Because unless you have academic degrees in these field, no career can be made. Your IAS preparation does not seems to be serious enough as you have to work a lot on your written abilities.
