So if you have the aptitude, a creative mind and can work out marvels with your thoughts and deeds, then Architecture is a good option for you. B Arch is being offered in many institutes of national importance such as IITs and NITs and in university schools of engineering and state owned engineering colleges. Besides there are private aided and unaided engineering colleges in our country. Regarding other streams, Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen branch with respect to employment opportunities in our country and abroad. Streams in demand include Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics and so on. Due to the seasonal nature of Information Technology with respect to job potentials, Information Technology stream is less sought these days, but prospects do not seem to be bad. Considering the trends in industrial growth in our country, Electronics and Computer Science streams seems to have a promising future.

Deepak, from what i understand that you have already done the required studies and have worked in 3D Movies (i suppose you mean personal short films?). If your work was good you should be able to find a start at any of the top studios. Going abroad is an option when you are easily able to get into indian studios. Disney is looking for animators who have worked for 2 years minimum and also must have required drawing skills. Rest you can call and discuss with me if you want. Wish you the best for your career. Shambhavi, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are lregistered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain.
