1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor’s degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects
2. Else if you aim at being a lecturer, then I would advice you to go for a regular masters degree in a relevant discipline and clear U.G.C NET conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.

Yes, you can take both electives. In 2nd year you'll have opportunity to select your electives, there are 10 elective subjects you can choose in your curriculum out of which for example if you choose 6 or 7 subjects from Finance your major specialization will be Finance and if rest is from Operations, then Operations will be your minor specialization. For main elective among finance and operations, in my opinion, finance would be better as you can grab more opportunities in finance compared to operations and also in current scenario manufacturing sector is suffering from slowdown so opting for operations as major wouldn't be a wise decision.
