Graduates in the following fields: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS, B.Tech or BE, and four-year veterinary/nursing Science degree programs are preferred. Students with a postgraduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Demography, Population Studies, Nutrition, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, etc. in relevant field are prioritized. Students with prior work experience in a health-related profession will increase your chances for admission.

For selection you will have to appear for a written exam, an interview, professional experience related to the subject of public health, and educational background. NRI students will have to provide assessments, professional experience, educational background, and phone interviews. Together with the application, candidates must provide two reference letters from professionals in the field of public health.
