The destination of your college for designing totally depends on you. You need to look at affordability, suitability of preferred location and the college culture. A dilemma for many students at this stage. 95% is a great score to apply abroad. With the scores you have, I will suggest you should try to apply for colleges abroad. You can pursue finance by taking an education loan and you may also be eligible for scholarships. Gain international exposure and get acquainted with the world-class research activities in your area. You can always and you should come back to India and give it back to the society.

No, it is not true. SRM University, Chennai KTR campus (main campus) is better than the other campuses of SRM University only as per reviews of those who have studied at SRM University. Even the placements are better only in the main campus.
