The eligibility criteria of ICDEOL for B.Ed. is given below.ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS (AS PER NCTE NORMS 2014) : The candidates who wish to apply for B.Ed. course (Distance Education mode) should fulfill following criterion:
a. The candidate should fall under any of the following two criteria:
i) Trained in-service teacher in elementary education. As per clarification given by Directorate of Elementary Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh vide letter no. EDN-H(Ele)(u)- 2/2015 (P&D), dated 26th August, 2015, Shastri Teachers with OT training, Language Teachers with LT training, Drawing Masters/Art and Craft Teachers with 2 years diploma, PET/PTI with 2 years diploma are trained teachers as considered by their parent department and thus, are eligible for admission in B.Ed. Course.
ii) Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to face mode. As per NCTE regulation,2014 Diploma in Pre-school Education (DPSE); D.El.Ed./J.B.T; B.El.Ed.; D.P.Ed.;B.P.Ed.; M.P.Ed.& Diploma in arts education (Visual/Performing Art) are NCTE recognized teacher education programmes.
b. In addition to anyone of above eligibility conditions, The candidate must have at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree (Medical/Non Medical/Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Masters Degree in the Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization
in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, and 45 percent marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped categories in the aforesaid Bachelors/Masters Degree and 50% marks for Bachelors in Engineering or technology from a recognized University established by law in India are eligible for admission to the programme.
So from above trained in service teachers and NCTE recognized education programme through face to face mode are eligible with OT, LT and diploma qualifications. Hence simple BA and MA degree holders are not eligible for B.Ed. course.

The B.Sc. Forensic Science course fee of Parul University is Rs 60000 per year. While the hostel fee is varying according to type of accommodation, The four seats Non AC with common washroom fee is about Rs 66000 per year. The following are the additional charges applicable to all students.
1. Refundable Deposit shall be paid seperaately Rs.5000 for Non AC & Rs.20000 for AC Room.
2. An amount of Rs.4000 (For AC) and Rs.1000 (For Non-AC) shall be deducted from the deposit on account of unlimited use of electricity. Students will not be separately billed for the same. However, in college hours (9am to 5pm), supply for AC shall not be available.
