Winning coding competitions is definitely a great achievement. However, admission to colleges is based on the cut-off marks and other eligibility criteria set by the college. So, it is not guaranteed that you will get admission based on your coding competition achievements alone. The cutoff for CSE in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) Patiala varies every year depending on various factors such as the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, etc. The cutoff for TIET Patiala for the year 2021 was 98.5 percentile for CSE. Since you have scored 98.22 percentile in JEE Mains 2021, it is difficult to say whether you will get admission in CSE at TIET Patiala or not.
