It is very difficult to get an MBBS seat in a private college with 144 marks in NEET, but not impossible. It depends upon several factors:

• NEET Cutoff & Qualifying Marks:You have to score above a certain cutoff to make it to the list of qualified candidates. This absolute cutoff changes from year to year. Generally, it has hovered around 117-137 marks for the open category, while for SC/ST/OBC, it has been relatively lower. If you clear the cutoff, you will be able to apply for counseling.
