See if you really have intrest in engineering you dont ask this question.you know that you are strong in some areas like maths etc.but see please dont read for the sake of ajob or getting a salary. if you do like that you cannot have a big salary like 10lpa and your salary will be 2.5lpa (If you get a job). all branches have its importance in the fields if you love a particular subject than take that subject so that you can become a master in it. moreovr now a days in it fields cse is good.and for govt jobs like ies you take ece/eee/mech/civil
