There are many course options available after 12th Science. You must opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.

After 12th in Science with Biology, Physics and Chemistry, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology).
[Eligibility criteria : complete 12th (PCB) with minimum 60% and sit for an entrance exam].

With Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th, you may go for engineering courses such as civil, mechanical, electronics etc.
[Eligibility criteria : complete 12th (PCM) with minimum 60% and sit for an entrance exam].

Apart from doing the degree level courses in Science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, computer, business administration.

You can also opt for courses outside the university stream such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses.
However, other than Science stream you may even explore the opportunities Commerce and Humanities offer.

You should also learn to manage time to complete the two sessions within 2 hours each. Since there is negative marking, candidates should take care not to guess the answers.You can follow the elimination method for answering doubtful questions. You should also keep in mind the minimum qualifying marks while answering. The required number of questions should be answered by the candidate. A strong base in mathematics can help in clearing the exam. Preparation should be done for each of the four sections.
