The total amount for the Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is

Rs- 31,000 per month for 1st and 2nd year. 

Rs 35,000 per month for 3rd year along with contingency grant of Rs 20,000 per year. 

Most scholarships offered at University of Maryland tend to be merit based and competitive. The college offers certificate courses in various specialisations. The exam pattern of ICAR AICE JRF SRF consists of a total of three sections:

Section A: This section has 72 subject-specific Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The first 20 questions are common and subject-based; a total of 72 specific subjects. 

Section B: This section consists of the subjects chosen by the students for PhD and there are a total of 50 MCQ questions included in this core group.
