IILM University Greater Noida accepts the following entrance exam scores for B.Tech. admissions:

1. JEE Main - This is an entrance exam for getting admission to B.Tech or any other tech-related degree. Scores from the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main are accepted for B.Tech. admissions
2. IILM Engineering Entrance Examination (IILMEEE) - IILM University conducts its entrance test. This test is conducted for those students who don't have attempted JEE Main.
3. State-level entrance exams - If the student has attempted any other state-level exams then his/her admission can be accepted, this depends on the university's guidelines.

IILM University Greater Noida is often classified as a Tier 2 university in India. Even though it does well at least at the level of providing quality education, mainly in managerial and liberal arts courses, it is definitely not at the level of Tier 1 Indian institutions, such as the IITs, IIMs, and top national universities, at least regarding volume of research, national rankings, or international reputation. However, it is well-regarded for its industry connections, experiential learning approach and modern infrastructure, making it an excellent fit for the kind of student looking for a practical education and good placement opportunities, particularly in business and related fields.

As of December 14, 2024, IILM University Greater Noida has not officially announced the last date for B.Tech. admissions for the academic session 2025. Typically, application deadlines for B.Tech. programs are set before the commencement of the academic year, which usually begins in July. For instance, in previous years, the application deadline was around May 30.
