As per your query it seems that your long term goal is to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program, so regarding this please remember in order to pursue this program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.
Regarding preparation of these test I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for various management entrance tests like TIME, IMS, etc.
The CAT test is held every year between October to November, MAT test is conducted 4 times in a year in:
- February.
- May.
- September.
- December.
XAT is conduced in January every year.
However for better career prospects I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years after completing your graduation and then opt for MBA.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which specialization to opt in MBA, that can further enhance your career prospects.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.
- Finally, if you work for few years than you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies.
Please note that, the final selection in full time MBA or PGDM program is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students. i.e. 50% marks in graduation.
2. Score in various management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, etc
