SIETK does provide the options of scholarships but these scholarships do not fully cover fees for all students. There are scholarships available for merit lists as well, for candidates topping the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET to scholarships for candidates from the weaker economic background. Certain type of government scholarships may also be applicable. However, the specific proportion of scholarships is as follows: it may differ each year depending on the possibility of the candidate to qualify for the scholarship and the availabilities of funds.

For admission to the UG courses in SIETK, one has to clear the EAMCET every year and must have 45% marks in class XII with PCM conducted by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh for the reserved category 40%. For taking admission in PG courses like M.Tech or MBA ( Various Courses), the minimum qualification required is the obtained percentage in the bachelor's degree as 50% marks for open category students and 45% for the students belonging to reserved category and also the qualified marks for GATE/PGECET/AP ICET (For MBA) examination will be mandatory.
