Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates can join Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology (SDM CET) through the following process:

Undergraduate (B.Tech): Admission is based on the candidate's performance in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK UGET. A valid score in these exams is required for counseling and seat allocation.
Postgraduate (M.Tech): Candidate should have valid GATE score, but candidates can also join the course through PGCET conducted by KEA under Karnataka Examination Authority.
Direct Admission: SDM CET will also provide management quota seats, subject to eligibility.

You can opt for either Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or ComedK UGET of you are eligible for it; as KCET for admission to the B.E. / B.Tech programme of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology (SDMCET) selection is dependent on passing 12th grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must have a valid entrance exam score to be admitted. Similar academic requirements are required to be eligible for the ComedK UGET. Candidates have to apply through the counseling process initiated by the ComedK body.
