Candidates must have a minimum of 45% in Class 12 with PCM stream. Since you have 70% in Class 12, you can definitely get admission, provided you fulfilll the other entry requirements. If you are looking for a more affordable option with a strong focus on technical education, CTIT Jalandhar might be a good choice. Since I have not been a student of the college, I can't be fully confident about it's life at campus. But, as per the research I gathered about the campus, it has a well-maintained campus with good infrastructure, including libraries, labs, and sports facilities. So, you can definitely give this institute a try.
