For such a specific question, I think you should contact the college officials. They will be able to provide detailed information the hostel timings, rules to be followed and other DO' and DON'Ts.

Not too sure about the colleges abroad, but in India the degree certificate should be valid. But, again I am not too sure as National Academy of Photography (NAP Kolkata) is not UGC recognized.

Last year, CAT cut-off was 83%ile, and cut-off changes every year. However, you can apply through CMAT, XAT and CMAT as well. Last date to apply is today which is 10th Jan 2018. Keep your options open.

YMCA has a very good repo and degree of YMCA cannot be compared with the affiliated ones.

It is indeed heartening to know that in spite of doing your B.Tech in chemical engineering you are preparing to join an MBA programme. There are different specialisations in MBA which you can choose from but I would advise you to go through the list first and see which one of them fascinates you the most. This subject you should select since while studying you will enjoy the whole process as a subject fascinates you.
