CMR Institute of Technology offers entrance exam-based admission to BE and BE Lateral Entry.

• Eligibility: Class 12/ PUC/ equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category candidates) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer. 
• Selection: Entrance exam (CET/ COMED-K/ JEE/ AIEEE) score
• Placements: TCMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) concluded the 2022 recruitment process with 714 placement offers. A total of 150 companies visited the institute campus during the 2022 placements. The CMRIT highest package stood at INR 26.5 LPA and the average package offered was INR 6.35 LPA. Further, a large share of offers ranged between INR 4 LPA and INR 7 LPA.
