It is worth investing 5 years of your life in Christ if reputable corporations come for placements. The average package is around 6 lacs per year, and the highest package is usually around 12-18 lacs per year.

Christ University, among the leading universities in Bangalore, offers high academic values and diversified courses. Still, the "best" university is subjective to individual preferences and course choice, and other reputed institutions like NLSIU, BILS, and RV College are no less commended in the city.

The selection process at Christ University B.A. LL.B includes an online application. Then, if shortlisted, the candidate shall have to appear for Christ University Law Entrance Test (CULEE). The other selection criterion may include assessment of the skills of students through interviews or presentations and, lastly, basis CULEE score, and their academic performance for final selection. While the minimum in Karnataka 2nd PUC is normally 45 to 50%, entrance score plays a more important role for selection. At Christ University, both BA LL.B and BBA LL.B offer good placements but cater to different goals:

BA LL.B: Suitable for litigation, public service, policy, or teaching.
BBA LL.B: This course suits corporate law, business, and banking. BA LL.B will be more beneficial for a public role while BBA LL.B would be corporate career-oriented. Success always depends on personal interest, networking, and academic hard work.

Generally one can expect better placements from Christ University than from Bangalore Institute of Legal Studies. The quality of the placement cell is better and has connections with the top law firms. Although BILS gives a good grounding in law, its placement aid is not as strong as that of Christ. In case placement options and career enhancement are the primary drivers to take up the course, Christ University is a better option.
