Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, be

Yes, acads and work-ex do count along with your CMAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT scores for getting selected. The weightage is put by the Admissions dept. and the selection panel and may change every year.

Hello nitya.! Students are called for GDPI after evaluating scores of CAT/XAT , previous academic record and relevant work experience. With 70 percentile in CAT, you should definitely apply. Chances for getting a call for GDPI is decent. Placements are 100 percent since inception and all the students of batch 2013-15 are already placed. Average package is around 6.5-7L. Here i would like to add most of the Life insurance, General insurance, Broking Firms, and IT companies come for recruitment.
At NIA the major specialization is insurance, you can choose anyone of finance/marketing/HR/IT as minor specialization.

Instead of starting an export course, you should opt MBA in International Business, that will be more beneficial. You may opt IGNOU, Pondicherry University etc. Still if you are interested for export courses then you may opt University of Madras's distance edu programme
