You will study both Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at LPU in the B.Tech (CSE). You would study AI in the 2nd year of CSE and you can choose ML as an Engineering Minor in the 3rd year of the B.Tech (CSE). Let me give brief information about both. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:
The course provides an introduction to different methods for solving logical problems by machines intelligently, also includes the study of various knowledge representation techniques in intelligent applications. The course will imply how machines can be made intelligent. Course Outcomes:

Describe basic knowledge representation, problem-solving, and learning methods of artificial intelligence. Compare various search techniques used to solve AI problems. Use analytical concepts for solving logical problems using heuristics approaches. Examine the various statistical reasoning techniques to solve AI problems. Justify the performance of different game-playing algorithms. Discuss the concepts of machine learning, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, and NLP. MACHINE LEARNING:
COMPUTER VISION
The course covers topics that include color, light, image formation, early, mid-, high-level vision and mathematics essential for computer vision. The course also includes sections of image filtering and thresholding, edge/corner/interest point detection, local and global descriptors, video tracking. Students will be able to apply mathematical techniques to complete computer vision tasks. Hands-on experience will be done using python and OpenCV. DEEP LEARNING
The Deep Learning course provides a pathway for students to take the definitive step in the world of AI by helping them gain the knowledge and skills to level up their careers. This course mainly focuses on the fundamentals of deep learning, convolutional neural network, recurrent neural network, autoencoders, generative adversarial networks, etc. Hands-on experience will be done using TensorFlow and Keras. Students will be able to build and train deep neural networks, identify key architecture parameters, implement convolutional and recurrent neural networks, and deeply learn to apply. FUNDAMENTALS OF MACHINE LEARNING
This course focuses on mathematical concepts of ML such as how linear Algebra relates to data and Multivariate Calculus optimizes fitting functions to get good fits to data. Hands-on practice will be done using python libraries for analyzing and visualizing the data an.

LPU being an Education Consultant many times I have had a locking horns with my clients. In spite of the fact that they can not fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission in LPU, after getting career counselling from me they usually ask me to manage the Admission on the basis of Donation to the University Management. But I know that there is no such kind of provision like this in the University. I heard that LPU is very particular in few things;
Candidate have to fulfill the Eligibility for the specific course. Student must maintain 75% attendance. Children studying in the University can not build a political Student organisation, Students can make their Student organizations for the motive to serve the Nation. LPU, does not take any Donation for granting a seat in branch.
