To just pass COMEDK as a general category student, you'll need at least 81 out of 180 (that's 45%). But that won't get you very far if you're gunning for top colleges or in-demand branches like CSE or ECE. For top-tier private colleges, aim for 160+ and a rank under 5,000. A score of 110–130 gets you into average private colleges. Safe to say—higher rank, better branch, better college.

If you're aiming for an MBBS seat in a Kerala government medical college, 625 marks was the cutoff in 2024 for the General/UR category. For 2025, expect it to hover around 625–640. Private colleges might have slightly lower cutoffs, but realistically, anything 610+ keeps you in the game for a good college. State quota helps, but competition's still intense. Play smart, aim high, and watch those seat allotment lists like a hawk.

Getting admission to the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management Certificate course is fairly easy. The admission process starts with the submission of an application. The form can be obtained from the institute's official website as well as the admissions office.

Once the application window is closed, the institute shortlists students who meet the eligibility requirements. Further, the institute's admission committee conducts GD & PI rounds. Students who are offered admission must report to the institute for verification of documents and payment of fees. A successful fee payment completes the admission process.

Aalaska Group of Education mostly deals in skill based and certificate programs, and although others are third party aggregators listing B.Com, the information found within their official or directly connected web sites does not call attention to it. Based on the assumption that by referencing Aalaska Group of Education, one means Aklia Group of Institutions (according to search results), the admission to B.Com is done on merit through scores in Class 12 (equivalent to 10+2) usually by a minimum of 50 percent of aggregate marks with commerce subjects, mathematical ability and a possible entrance test by the respective institutions.
