No , it's not compulsory to use that sim. It depends on you which sim you want to use. Some of the students from our batch had not taken that sim.

SRM-Modinagar and COER are good colleges. COER has good faculty members. But in private I would suggest Galgotias University. The faculty members are experienced and the environment is mostly calm because of the location as well as the crowd. The placements are also good. You can also consider sharda for a better crowd.
