It depends upon the college structure for that particular course but mainly you will be specialised in a computer language like C, C++, Java, Python but they will also give you the knowledge of different things which will be helpful for you like software engineering , networking fundamentals, HTML, CSS which will further help you to develop your other skills in a computer like HTML and CSS will be helping you to make the website, software engineering will give you the knowledge about the software. They also give you the knowledge about hardware and database management system. In the end, it depends upon you that in which field you want to be getting specialised.

The eligibility criteria of KVS TGT for Social Studies is given below. Educational qualifications : (a) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Or
Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. The elective subjects and languages in the combination of subjects are as under:
Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and political. Science of which one must be either History or Geography. B) B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised University
c) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. D) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. So from above CTET Paper-II is essential for KVS TGT.
