No, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score is not considered for the NID entrance test. For entry into BArch programs at various Indian architectural colleges, applicants must pass the NATA aptitude test. Only DAT scores are accepted by NID Bengaluru for admission to the MDes program.

No, you can not take direct admission at National Institute of Design, Bengaluru.
For admission, A candidate must have taken both the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains to be eligible for admission. According to each category's DAT Prelims scores, a merit list is created. Candidates are invited to the DAT Mains based on that merit list. Studio exam and interview are both part of DAT Mains.
