B.Sc animation and VFX are 3 years' duration courses.
Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course in animation is a 4-year course. The four years course includes 2D, 3D, VFX, etc. The difference between the two degrees is that the B.Des course is not only 1 year more but offers usually an international syllabus, which is completely focused on Animation only.
