Admission to the JNTU BPharma is based on the TS EAMCET.
85% of seats are reserved for state students. If you are from Telangana state, then you can get admission with a 60% score. But if you are not from the Telangana state then you have to score more than 85% because seats are very few in the BPharma course. TS EAMCET results were declared last week. The college cut-off is not yet declared.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU Hyderabad) is a public university located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was founded in 1965 as the Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College and was established as a university in 1972 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent in the Science stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. In the case of lateral entry in B. Pharmacy, the student should have passed D. Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks from a university/college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Duration: 4 years
After completing B Pharm you can work as a pharmacist, do patient counseling, do further studies such as a master's degree, work in a university as a lecturer, or work as a drug information specialist.

I am also a student from Hyderabad. As per my view, by studying at CBIT or NIT Warangal, you will lose the opportunity to live in other state and exposure to a kind of different situation. The bondage formed with your friends is more strong when you people are away from your home town. So if you are not really interested in biotech, just leave NITW. I suggest you to join any other NIT according to your rank, rather than joining even JNTU Hyderabad. You will understand the difference between a EAMCET college and Mains college after you finish your 1st year more clearly. You would not regret it. Even by comparing with the facilities provided, the North Nits like Nagpur, etc. Will be far more better than local ones.
