Key differences between B.C.A and B.Tech C.S.E
1. B.C.A stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications whereas B.Tech is Bachelor of Technology.
2. B.C.A is solely computer related whereas B.Tech incorporates technical subjects along with computer applications.
3. The former is a degree course whereas the latter is an engineering discipline.
4. B.C.A Professionals can seek for career in IT industries or software companies only whereas Engineers can opt either for technical jobs or for software jobs.
Comparing B.C.A and B.Tech, the latter is a much better course, which has reasonably good employment opportunities. The former becomes a good one with a post graduation in Computer Applications.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in AFCAT followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs). Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) based on their choice of branch/eligibility.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can apply online through IAF career website by filling all the mandatory details from June onward.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to www.careerairforce.nic.in and select the ‘Apply Online’ link on the left side of the page.
2. Read all the instructions carefully before starting Online Application and click on Continue to Candidate Section link.
3. Select New Candidate link to start the Online Application process.
4. Fill all the five parts of online applications carefully including part 5 where you need to upload photograph, signature and thumb impression.
5. Submit error free application and retain User Name and Password for future use.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a common admission test for selecting candidates for various branches of Indian Air Force.
Different books for the preparation of the candidate for the AFCAT test are available in book stores across India. AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) by RPH Editorial Board is one of the books one can refer to. Other than that books for other entrance exams like Bank PO, CAT etc.
