The admission procedure of this college is not biased o the students and depends on the merit and rank of the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. It is entirely a government college, so students who belong to financially poor families also get benefits. Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. Student shall be medically fit. Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Fee for B.Sc. Nursing in Guru Shri Gorakshnath College of Nursing is about 3.5 Lacs in total. For first year you have to pay 80,000. For 2nd year : 83,000. For 3rd year : 87,000. For 4th year : 90,000. So the total fee of B.Sc. Nursing is about 3,40,000. Moreover a caution fee of Rs 5,000 have to paid at the time of admission and that will be refunded to you after completion of course.
