Yes. English is compulsory for GDs. In PI you can tell that you are not comfortable with English. But, they would prefer someone who has goal clarity and is making efforts towards improving his/her communication skills. Fluency in English is very important. A manager's job is to communicate properly and he/she should have a good command over the language.
