Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test TANCET 2021 conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to M. B.A. , MCA and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the academic year 2021-2022. You can be eligible to apply for MBA courses through TANCET scores. The eligibility criteria for TANCET MBA is given below. Eligibility : A pass in a recognised Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination. (a) 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years patter (or) (b) 10 + 3 years Diploma +3 years pattern (or) (c) B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Pharma. (or) (d) (I) 10 + 2 + AMIE (or) (ii) 10 + 3 years Diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE
Note : Candidates appearing for the final semester/year of examination of the said qualifying degree course except courses offered by Professional Institutions like AMIE, during April/May 2021 may also apply for TANCET 2021.

[Lateral Entry] : The eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in ITI (in Technical field) 1 year/ 2 years Certificate course after 10th or 2 years Diploma from SLIET or 10+2 Vocational (in Technical field) or 10+2 (Non-Medical) or equivalent from any recognised Board/ Council. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
2. B.Tech. [Lateral Entry]: The eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
