For 4year Btech cutoff is around 10k and for 5year Integrated Btech Mtech it goes to about 16k depending on the Mtech specialization.

It is not about the marks or percentile. It is all about the rank. Scores depend upon difficulty level while percentile depends upon the number of candidates you are competing with. You need to be in top 190-220 rank in CET State Merit List to get into Sydenham.

It is a myth amongst the mind of students. Corporates know that the value imparted to both are same. Some college unlike dalmia even give some extra knowledge to pgdm. Mms is generally important in case of government jobs where they give preference to degree over diploma. In case of corporates they treat it equally.
