One can train to be a pilot after 12th with maths, physics and English subjects. To gain CPL, first you will have to join a Flying Training school, pass aviation grade medical test and complete SPL & PPL course. Exams for all these are taken by DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) certified institutes. For gaining CPL, minimum 250 hours of dual and solo flying on a trainer aircraft is required. The cost of CPL is around Rs. 35 lac to 50 lac including exams and flying hours.
