Yes, Vihan, don't worry. I am also an LPU student, and my admission was based only on LPUNEST.

LPUNEST is enough for admission and scholarship in Hotel Management at LPU.  Your LPUNEST score and eligibility determine your admission and scholarship.

Hi, Vihan. LPUNEST for Agriculture courses is not very difficult. If you have prepared your Class 12 subjects well, especially Biology or Agriculture, you can score well. With regular study and practice, it is easy to clear the exam and also get a good scholarship.

GIBS Business School gives a very practical and active learning environment.

It is not only classroom study. It is more like:

  • regular presentations and group work
  • case studies and business activities
  • internships and real company exposure
  • guest lectures from industry people
  • workshops, seminars, and training sessions
  • focus on communication and confidence building
  • entrepreneurship and startup-oriented activities

Overall, the environment is more “learn by doing” type. Students are encouraged to speak, participate, and work on real business ideas instead of only memorising theory.

So it feels more active, interactive, and career-focused.

If you did your 12th from Punjab, you're usually eligible for the Punjab quota even if you don't have a separate domicile certificate.I'd just select “No” for the domicile certificate if you don't have one and continue filling the form. In most cases, your Punjab school documents are enough.

Yes, Lovely Professional University actually does give certification opportunities along with the B.Tech CSBS (Computer Science and Business Systems) program. In the curriculum there are industry certifications, MOOCs, hackathons, workshops, live projects, and industry-interface activities, all of them are basically placed under skill development—so it sort of keeps students active in different ways. Students are also pushed to chase certifications in topics like cloud computing AI/ML cybersecurity data analytics, and software technologies. They do this through various platforms and industry collaborations, which in the end helps to

In the CSBS program, case studies are usually connected with real business and technology situations instead of only coding theory. Topics often include digital banking systems, e commerce operations, data based marketing, supply chain management, customer analytics, and startup business models. At LPU, students also work on projects where technical decisions are linked with business impact, which helps in understanding how companies solve practical problems and improve services using technology.

The CSBS ( Computer Science and Business Systems ) course at Lovely Professional University can be a good option for students who want to start their own business because it basically blends technical learning with more business minded subjects like management, finance, analytics, and entrepreneurship. And it's not like the usual CSE track that mostly dives into programming and building software. Instead CSBS also trains students to really understand how a company runs, how to steer projects, evaluate markets, and make those strategic decisions that matter. So if someone is into startups, tech based businesses, product development, or

Yes, CSBS students can participate in hackathons and coding competitions at LPU. The program includes coding, analytics, and business problem solving, so students usually get opportunities to join technical events, innovation challenges, and team based competitions. Many students take part through coding clubs, workshops, and university events. One advantage is exposure to real industry style projects and teamwork. The course is slightly more business oriented than core CSE, so students interested in advanced programming often need extra practice outside class as well.

So the fee structure for B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) at Lovely Professional University is sorta similar to most other premium computing options. Usually the tuition fees sit at around ₹1.6 lakh each semester (like approx ₹3.2 lakh per year) but the real number can shift depending on the admission year. Apart from that, students also have to pay examination fees, and if they take hostel accommodation there are separate hostel and mess charges too, kinda extra. The good part is, LPU has scholarships through LPUNEST, JEE Main, Class 12 performance, sports and a few other merit buckets, which can bring down what

Yes, LPU does offer real hands on type learning within the CSBS (Computer Science and Business Systems) program. Students take part in coding labs, business case studies, live projects , workshops internships, hackathons, innovation activities and even industry training sessions, instead of just sitting through classroom lectures all the time. The program seems built to mix technical capabilities with business applications , so students get some exposure to the kind of technology and business problems you meet in the real world.

For CSBS students, there is also project based learning and teamwork style assignments, plus industry

The faculty for B.Tech CSBS (Computer Science and Business Systems) at Lovely Professional University has members coming from both the computer science and management side, and that's kinda one of the biggest strengths of the program. The students get guidance from teachers who bring academic, research, and industry background, across topics like programming, AI, data analytics, software engineering, business analytics, finance, and also management. Because CSBS is kind of interdisciplinary, students end up learning from specialists across different disciplines at once, not just one lane. Also the course work is backed by practical pro
