KSOU degrees hold merit in our country India for state and central government jobs. KSOU has been instructed not to provide degrees outside Karnataka since 2012 by the high court. Degrees obtained after 2012 from KSOU outside Karnataka are not valid until the high court says.
The KPSC issued letters to those who have graduated from the KSOU since 2013, stating that their qualification cannot be considered as the courses have been derecognized by the UGC. Degrees obtained from the KSOU before 2013, however, are valid.
