It depends on which exams you've failed. If it's sessional exams, you can make up for it in the coming sessionals, anyway you just need 35% to qualify for final exams.

If you've failed final university exams, then you will have to write supplementary exams which are conducted roughly a month and a half after the university exams. If you pass those, you can go on to second year, otherwise you'll have to repeat first year.

If it's just your first sessional exams, don't worry about it at all. Most people fail ‘at least’ one subject in their first sessionals.

RIMT University employs the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) system to assess a student's overall academic performance. The CGPA is calculated using the formula: sum of the total SGPA in all semesters divided by the total number of credit hours.

Converting CGPA to a percentage involves using the formula '(CGPA - X)*10', where X falls within the range of 0.5 to 1. Students have the option to utilise online CGPA calculators to determine their CGPA and corresponding percent
