To register for the admission test, applicants for NIFT Shillong must go to the institutes official website. There is a tough competition amongst candidates to get admission to the courses on offer. Approximately 22,000 applicants take the NIFT entrance exam, with 3,590 seats available for admission (including UG and PG courses) across all the NIFT campuses. This indicates that only about 16% of all applicants are accepted to any NIFT college.
